Magnolia
Many years ago I brought home a small seedling southern Magnolia from my son's grade school field trip to Washington, DC area. We live in Pennsylvania and these are not native to our area. It has survived many harsh winters (including this year!). Took probably eight years for it to bloom but we now get such lovely large fragrant blooms in June. This one of the first blooms from this year.

Just love the colors of the umbrella and chairs against the neutral background. This was the view on my deck in Brigantine, NJ.

Couldn't resist painting these lovely peonies and tulip arrangement that my wonderful husband gave me for my birthday! Such a pretty combination of colors.
