Willie Majewski was only 8 years old on Nov. 9, 1991 as he gathered his fishing gear and walked toward Chartiers Creek, which feeds into the nearby Ohio River. His gear was found by the creek but Willie was never seen again.

Tasha Jonas, 11, was the victim of an ugly custody battle between her father, who lived with her in Kentucky, and her mother who lived in Virginia. On May 11, 2015 her father, an army soldier, shot Tasha and then turned the gun on himself. He suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

New beginnings.... 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge

 To start off 2016, (I'm a bit late posting!) I've joined a group of artists in a challenge to do 30 paintings in 30 days. The purpose is not to come away with a masterpiece but to discipline ourselves to paint everyday. They are little exercises. Hopefully at the end I will come away with more skills. They are all 6x6 on gesso panel.
