This is taken from a photo of my daughter playing in the sand when she was about 4, that I've always loved. We were vacationing in Kitty Hawk and we were at the sounds. She was totally engrossed in pouring the sand on to her knee and watching it pile.

This is a 6" x 6" oil on canvas mounted on board. It was from a photo of my mom on the beach I loved the light showing through hat brim.
